The Archon
Above us, below
us and all around us,
Watching us, waiting to intervene in our petty little lives,
They are proof of the insignificance of the race of man,
They are the sun and the moon,
The fire and the air,
The water and the earth,
Seated at the pillars of the galaxy,
Uncaring and unkind to the race of man.
They are the rulers, above and beyond the comprehension of man,
The knower's of all things seen and unseen,
Bestowers of all empires as well as all plagues,
Givers and takers of life,
Blind to the plight of humanity,
Aware but blind,
Blind but aware,
The Archon have always been and so shall always be,
Since the dawn of the galaxy's birth so have they been,
They have formed the mighty sun and the planets,
The moon and the stars which number in the millions,
They formed the creatures of the seas from the blood of the earth,
They made the sun aflame to slowly wither away the waters,
To expose land and great mountains,
To create new species of land walking creatures,
To control the process of evolution solidifying humanities future,
Thus they stood upon the great pillars and will stand as observers,
From the millennia of creation till they cease to show interest,
So shall they be and so shall we remain their eternal slaves.
