I have been a martial artist for twenty years of my life, longer then not. Throughout my martial career, I have earned numerous accolades, degrees and awards. I hold advanced rank in three martial arts and am recognized as the founder of three martial arts. The degrees I hold are;
I am the headmaster/ head instructor of Nagash Family Martial Arts and I have taught countless individuals self-defense and the martial sciences. From the East coast to the West Coast of the United States I have taught countless students.
The three martial arts I have come to found, each serve their own distinct purposes and have their own aesthetics. The three founded martial sciences are;
Ghost
Fist Kung Fu took nearly a decade to develop and refine, and was the very
first art I had founded. GFKF has been developed to be one of the toughest
and most rewarding systems of kung fu developed. Classes are brutal and last
anywhere from three to five hours in length. Ghost Fist Kung Fu encapsulates
traditional kung fu and traditional kung fu values, all be it a modern branch
of the kung fu tree.
Ghost
Fist kung fu successfully utilizes techniques, training, conditioning, drills
and sets from various kung fu schools. Shaolin kung fu, Chin Na, Tam Tua,
Ving Tsun etcetera...make up the core of Ghost Fist Kung Fu. A black belt
in Ghost Fist Kung Fu can truly call themselves a warrior!
The second art I'd founded is called "Nagash-Ryu Shinobi-Do," which is a modern adaptation of classical Ninjitsu. NRSD is both a striking and grappling art, but also incorporates a menagerie of weapons. Nagash-Ryu Shinobi-Do is not a martial art for the corrupt or feint of heart, as lessons are geared towards life and death situations.
The techniques employed in NRSD are very deadly and are borrowed from a variety of Karate schools. Uechi-Ryu Karate-Do, Iga and Koga Ninjitsu, as well as Tae Kwon Do and Judo make up the core of Nagash-Ryu Shinobi-Do teachings.
M.A.C.S.
is my newest and yet oldest martial art. By the time I was twelve years old,
I'd become obsessed with combat sports. I founded the "Junior Pit Fighting
League" in Philadelphia, PA. as a way for kids and gang members to settle
disputes without anyone getting seriously hurt or killed. Back then we were
shooting for takedowns, ground and pounding and getting submissions just like
modern Mixed Martial Arts.
I rededicated myself to sport martial arts and developed a system for use in mixed martial arts arenas, enter modern American combat sciences. M.A.C.S. fills the void in Nagash Family Martial Arts, for a system for use in the ring or for sport and not just on the streets. I myself am getting ready to step inside the cage using M.A.C.S. to show the world what my system has to offer!
Martial
arts isn't a hobby or a lifestyle, it is a path one chooses to walk! Choose
your path carefully and wisely.
Over these twenty years, i've had dozens of sparing partners from various schools of the martial arts. Aside from those studying the arts that I was, I've also sparred with those from Kenpo, Boxing, Kickboxing, Jujitsu, Judo, Shotokan karate, Ving Tsun, Wushu and Ninjitsu.
As for accolades, I was Pennsylvania state champion in (WTF) TKD free fighting and a forms champion several times over. I am universally recognized as a Master in the martial arts and as an original founder of my three systems. Medals and reocognition aside, martial arts has helped temper my anger, I've lost over 150lbs and it has given me the ability to walk with confidence.
